About The Community

Oakhurst at Kingwood is one of 21 neighborhoods that comprise the community of Kingwood. We are unique in that we are the only neighborhood on the west side of Hwy 59, giving residents quick and easy access to the surrounding areas. All residents are members of The Oakhurst Community Association. We are also home to the Oakhurst Golf Club, a daily fee golf facility. The club and grill offer residents a great place to play a round of golf or just meet a neighbor for lunch.

About The Association

The Oakhurst Community Association is a Texas Non-profit Corporation whose purpose is to manage the facilities, activities and business of the community for the current and long term benefit of all homeowners. A full description of the purpose and authority of the Oakhurst C.A. is contained in the Association's Bylaws. All property owners in Oakhurst are automatically members of the Community Association.


The affairs of the Association are managed by a 5-member Board of Directors. The day to day operations and management of community business are handled by a professional association management company, Community Asset Management, Inc., at the direction of the Board of Directors.

The Oakhurst swimming pool, clubhouse and main playground are located at 28825 Rock Creek Dr. A splash pad water facility is location on Aubern Fields Dr. Facility bands are required for admission to the private swimming pool, splashpad and should be worn at all association facilities. Association Dues

The Association collects an annual assessment for each lot from each lot owner. In addition, a Parcel Assessment is collected from owners of property in the Enclave (gated section) and Woodlake (partial gated section). Assessments are used to provide various services to the community, including streetlighting and support of a community clubhouse and pool. This assessment is payable annually on January 1. Any assessment not paid within thirty days after the due date bears interest at the rate of 10% APR. Community Asset Management, Inc. handles the billing and collection of association dues.
